I was thinking these past few weeks and wondering why we, as Christians, do not consider being a Christian a lifestyle as well as a relationship.  From the beginning of the Jewish people, they have lived their religion and relationship as a lifestyle.  While many of them forgot the basic meaning of the laws set down by God, they followed them.  There was no thought of not going to temple, or celebrating the sabbath, or celebrating any small or large festival.  They just did it.  Like breathing, it was taught and instilled in them from birth.  I'm not saying we have to following the same laws given to the Jews, but we, as Christians, should be behaving like Christ. It should be like we are breathing.  Without thinking - just doing.  Not wondering if someone is going to be offended if we pray, or being embarrassed by speaking aloud about Christ.  We should be living and breathing Jesus Christ.  Being a Christian should not be difficult, it should be as easy as taking a breath.  When we see someone in need, we help. We don't need to think - just do.  When someone needs to be loved, we love - just do.  It should be second nature to us - if we are going to call ourselves Christian.  It's not a religion or relationship - it's a lifestyle.  We live and breath it.  We teach our children to live and breath it.

Also, to those that are Christian and are having a hard time with Trump - read Romans 13.  Then pray.  It shouldn't matter what party we vote for, we are Christian and must live and breath the examples and laws set forth by God.  God is in charge of all things.  As Jesus stated to Pilot, "I am not of this kingdom.  I put you where you are." (paraphrased).  Nothing has changed.  God is the authority over us and has placed authority over us.  If we disrespect the current authority, we are disrespecting God.

Let's not be liberal, conservatives, democrats, or republicans.  Let's be Christian and live and breath the Bible.
